The Detroit Regional Chamber has been a leading advocacy partner in advancing the Renaissance Center’s redevelopment, helping secure the financing tools and public support needed to move the project forward. From advocating for an expansion of Michigan’s Transformational Brownfield plans to supporting local approval, the Chamber has worked to help turn a vision for Detroit’s riverfront into reality.
That work reached another milestone on Oct. 14, when the Detroit Brownfield Redevelopment Authority voted to approve the redevelopment plan following testimony from the Chamber’s Director of Public Policy and Business Advocacy, Adam Majestic.
