Chamber, Detroit Promise, Year Up Detroit Partner to Provide Professional Skills Training and Internships in Financial Services

October 12, 2022

The Detroit Regional Chamber, Detroit Promise, and Year Up Detroit are partnering to provide professional skills training and match young professionals to corporate internships at top consumer banking and financial services employers.

The program will offer two to four weeks of paid training beginning Feb. 27, 2023. Participants who successfully complete the training will receive a three-month corporate internship, starting March 27, 2023, with JP Morgan Chase & Co. or Bank of America, with the potential to be hired into a full-time role.

During the training and internship, participants will gain transferable industry skills, from executing transactions and client management processes to navigating sales and support roles.

Interested participants can visit yearup.org/apply to learn more and apply on a rolling basis. They can also learn more at Year Up’s upcoming virtual information session on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 4 p.m. Sign up here.
