Ghafari Announces Three Promotions at Dearborn Headquarters

Dearborn, MI – February 5, 2020 – Award-winning global architecture, engineering, and consulting firm Ghafari Associates (Ghafari) is excited to announce the following promotions at its Dearborn headquarters:

·         Scott Hahn, AIA to Vice President

·         Ben Rowe, PE, LEED AP to Senior Project Manager

·         Chris Costis, PE to Structural Engineering Manager

Scott Hahn, AIA joined the Ghafari team in 1995 as a project architect and soon transitioned to project management. In his 26 years with the firm, he has led a variety of projects, ranging from corporate headquarters and higher education buildings to industrial research laboratories and military facilities. Hahn holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Texas Tech University. He is a longstanding member of the American Institute of Architects.

Ben Rowe, PE, LEED AP started with Ghafari in 2011 as a structural engineer and later moved into a project management role. As a project manager, he has led some of the firm’s most complex, fast-track automotive sector projects for such clients as General Motors and the Mazda-Toyota joint venture. Rowe holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, both from the University of Michigan, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Walsh College.

Chris Costis, PE has been an integral member of Ghafari’s structural team since 2011. With 25 years of engineering experience, he has developed a diverse project portfolio that includes manufacturing, aviation, commercial, educational, and institutional structures. Costis holds a Master of Science in civil engineering from Wayne State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from University of Detroit Mercy.
