When, Bernard, a longtime Chamber Board Member and leader in the legal community passed away this year in a tragic accident in Florida, his friend Patrick Hickey of Dykema summed it up best: “He’s like no one I ever met, a man we all strive to be.”

U.S. Senator

Gretchen Whitmer

Governor, Michigan

Noting the divisiveness of the times and the Governor’s success in leading Michigan, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan President and Chief Executive Officer Tricia A. Keith quipped about Whitmer: “She was willing to meet whoever, wherever, whenever. That is what it takes to lead a purple state.”

Erin Poe headshotErin Poe is the Creative Manager at the Detroit Regional Chamber, advancing the Chamber’s brand by creating and implementing various print and digital media. She collaborates with the marketing team and provides graphic design solutions for in-house initiatives, production design and photography for live events, print layout for marketing materials and print publications, and digital graphics to support the website, email marketing, and social media.

Poe is a Gallery Committee Member for the Downriver Council for the Arts and the Illustrator of “The Season of Undoing,” a collection of poetry by Elonna St. Johnn. Poe earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from Grand Valley State University.
