Salesforce Hosts National Black Business Month Virtual Block Party Wednesday, Aug. 25

Salesforce is celebrating National Black Business Month by hosting a virtual National Black Business Month Block Party on Aug. 25 from 3-7 p.m. Sponsored by Black Enterprise and Deloitte Digital, the Block Party is free and open to the public with registration.

The event seeks to inspire, amplify, and elevate Black entrepreneurs, creatives, and business leaders everywhere while having important conversations about building Black wealth and investing in the future. The programming will also share product resources for business owners and reveal insights from business leaders and influencers.

“By creating space for these important conversations and providing access to knowledge and technology, we hope to elevate Black business owners and encourage the next generation of Black entrepreneurs,” Shalaya Shipman, senior director of strategic business development SMB for Salesforce, said.

In addition to the discussions, the event will also feature Salesforce partners, customers, a live DJ, giveaways, spoken word by poet Lynae Vanee, a special music performance by Grammy-nominated rapper Wale, and luminary speakers like Yvonne Orji, who will provide a special edition of #BossTalks.
