Steve Davis is the Michigan Market President of Fifth Third Bank, overseeing the company’s business and community engagement throughout the state in addition to his role in providing leadership for Middle Market and Business Banking teams.
Davis has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry after joining Fifth Third Bank in 1992 as a credit analyst. Since that time, he has held various lending and management positions of increasing responsibility and scope. Most recently, Davis served as Director, Middle Market Banking and President of Fifth Third Banks’s Leasing Corporation while managing a multi-billion dollar commitment portfolio.
Additionally, Davis has served on the Michigan Senior Leadership Team since 2016 and has been a member of Fifth Third Bank’s Sustainability Finance Council since its inception.
Among Davis’ many business and community affiliations, he currently serves as a board member of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, the Detroit Regional Chamber, the College for Creative Studies, the Detroit Economic Club, Business Leaders of Michigan, The United Way of Southeast Michigan, Advisory Board for MSU Broad School of Business, Detroit Athletic Club Foundation Board, the Leadership Circle for the Detroit Regional Partnership and the CATCH Board of Trustees. Davis has also served as a board member of Loyola High School, Cass Community Social Services, and the Fifth Third Bank Michigan Market Corporate Contributions Committee.
Davis earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA in finance from Michigan State University.
