Michael D. Bishop served in the U.S. House of Representatives and previously spent more than a decade in the Michigan Legislature, including as Michigan Senate Majority Leader.
In Congress, he served on the Ways and Means and Judiciary committees. Bishop is the Founder and President of American General Counsel PLC and has remained active in efforts focused on education, bipartisan civility and governmental reform.
