In January 2022, UPS launched UPS Ignite, a diversity, equity, and inclusion program designed to elevate underrepresented founders and their businesses around the United States. With the goal of providing knowledge, capital, and networking resources and tools to more than 250 small- and medium-sized businesses over the next three years, UPS is now looking for the next UPS Ignite cohort.
UPS Ignite focuses on four areas:
- Capital through its partnership with the Accion Opportunity Fund
- Self-paced, online training on a UPS-branded platform in collaboration with The Lonely Entrepreneur and its Black Entrepreneur Initiative
- Classes through the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University
- Business coaching through The Lonely Entrepreneur and Beyond CEO Coaching
