Marianne Bogard is the Director of Leadership Detroit and Signature Events for the Detroit Regional Chamber. She executes program development and marketing strategies for Leadership Detroit and signature events like the International Women’s Day Luncheon. Bogard also assists in the planning and execution of event logistics, external client and vendor communications, and creating relationships for signature events such as the Detroit Policy Conference and Mackinac Policy Conference.
Bogard started at the Chamber in August 2009 as the Publications Intern for the Chamber, then assisted the Small Business Program Manager with logistical support before being promoted to her current position.
Bogard is a certified meeting professional with the Events Industry Council, a Meeting Professionals International Michigan Chapter member, and a New Detroit Multicultural Leadership program graduate. She is also a recipient of the Diversity Champion award from the Birmingham Bloomfield Diversity Taskforce.
Before joining the Chamber, Bogard earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Organizational Culture Studies, Electronic Media, and Visual Communications from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She resides in Wyandotte, Michigan.
