Chamber Congratulates Mayor-elect Sheffield, Elected Detroit City Council Members

The Detroit Regional Chamber congratulates Mary Sheffield on her election as the next Mayor of Detroit. Earlier this year, the Chamber PAC endorsed Sheffield and is committed to working closely with her administration to continue the city’s economic momentum.

Sheffield became the first woman to be elected mayor of Detroit, defeating Solomon Kinloch by more than 50 points.

Chamber PAC-endorsed candidates Scott Benson, James Tate, and Coleman Young II also won their reelection campaigns for City Council.
