Johnson Controls is providing technology resources and expertise to support the urgent clinical capacity expansion and network infrastructure modifications or additions. The company has the global experience, national workforce, and healthcare expertise to enhance alternate care sites’ responses to COVID-19.

Michigan State University’s Broad College of Business

PwC Foundation Donating $2.85 Million to ‘Areas of Need’ 

In the face of uncertain times and COVID-19, PwC Charitable Foundation President Yolanda Seals-Coffield announced a massive $2.85 million donation to areas of need.

University of Michigan’s Poverty Solutions: Michigan COVID-19 Pandemic Resource Guide

Poverty Solutions, a U-M initiative aimed at preventing and alleviating poverty, compiled the Michigan COVID-19 Pandemic Resource Guide to help people make sense of the new resources becoming available as a result of the rapidly changing federal, state and local responses to the coronavirus outbreak.

Wayne State, City of Detroit: COVID-19 Testing for Homeless

Wayne State University will oversee the COVID-19 testing of symptomatic members of the homeless population at a designated Salvation Army shelter, with the support of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan and its foundation partner, the DMC Foundation.

Wayne State School of Social Work, College of Nursing Crisis Hotline

The Wayne State University School of Social Work and the College of Nursing in collaboration with other Wayne State departments launched a crisis hotline for Metro Detroit first responders and healthcare professionals toiling on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The phone number to the hotline is 1-888-910-1636, and counselors will be available Mondays through Saturdays from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Calls to the crisis line will be free and confidential, and callers will not be asked to provide any identifying information.
