Devon O’Reilly Named Forty Under 40 by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives

The Detroit Regional Chamber congratulates Senior Director of Community Engagement and Leadership Development Devon O’Reilly for receiving the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executive’s (ACCE) Forty Under 40 Award.

Devon O'Reilly Leadership DetroitThis annual recognition program showcases 40 of the industry’s top emerging leaders who have demonstrated success in their careers and made significant contributions to the communities they serve. The list includes chief executive officers and staff professionals from a wide variety of roles and chamber sizes.

O’Reilly was nominated for the award by the Chamber’s Chief Operating Officer, Tammy J. Carnrike, who shared the following:

“Devon leads multiple key programs for the chamber focused on leadership, small business impact, and supporting the ongoing revitalization of Detroit’s neighborhoods. Under Devon’s Leadership, the Leadership Detroit has been reimagined with new and innovative topics while remaining one of the premier leadership programs in the country. He led the creation of the chamber’s NeighborHUB program. This program directs grant dollars to Detroit-based nonprofits and small businesses to create welcoming and exciting spaces in their community. To date the program has awarded 93 grants totaling $2.3 million. He also created and hosts the Detroiters Think Big podcast series, which served to showcase and tell the stories of local small business owners creating a positive impact in their communities.”
