Former Senior Assistant Ohio Attorney General Joins Plunkett Cooney

Sean R. Mackin, a former Senior Assistant Attorney General for the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, recently joined Plunkett Cooney, one of the Midwest’s oldest and most accomplished law firms, as a member of its Torts & Litigation Practice Group.

Sean Mackin headshotA member of the firm’s Columbus office, Mackin concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance defense and general negligence law. Mackin is an experienced litigator who defends first- and third-party motor vehicle, trucking, premises and product liability claims, as well as insurance coverage cases involving homeowner policies. He also has experience handling matters involving personal injuries, breach of contract, employment disputes, vicarious liability, defamation and construction defects.

Mackin is a member of the Virginia State and Ohio State Bar associations. He received his law degree from William & Mary Law School in 2017 and his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Salisbury University in 2014.
