On Thursday, June 12, The Detroit News will be hosting its annual “Michiganian of the Year“ awards in honor of individuals who have made significant contributions to the state of Michigan. This year, the awards will be presented by the Detroit Regional Chamber.
2025 marks the 47th class of Michiganians. Past honorees have included leaders in community, business, arts, and athletics, including the Chamber’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Sandy K. Baruah.
