Madison Gooch is the Vice President of watsonx, IBM’s generative AI platform across the Americas. In this role, she leads the strategy and go-to-market for IBM’s generative AI technology stack, working with organizations to harness AI to transform operations, drive productivity, and unlock new revenue opportunities.
Gooch joined IBM in 2014 and has held a variety of leadership roles spanning sales, client success, go-to-market strategy, and technical leadership. Throughout her tenure, she has focused on empowering IBM teams while working closely with clients to help them realize meaningful business and technical outcomes through AI and data technologies.
Gooch’s previous roles include serving as Chief of Staff to the General Manager of Watson, leading the global sales organization for Conversational AI, AI, and Data Science technologies, and launching the first set of analytics cloud offerings across the Americas. Today, she works with organizations across industries to explore how generative AI can reshape digital labor, enhance customer and employee experiences, and modernize applications.
Gooch earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Leadership and Administration from the University of Kentucky.
