Health Care’s Race Ahead
Over 200 attendees joined the Detroit Regional Chamber for the 2013 Health Care Leaders Forum on Thursday, March 21 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago – Detroit Branch. Some of the nation’s top health care thought leaders examined the current direction and pace of health care reform and transformation.
The 2013 Forum hosted business owners, executives, health care professionals and change-makers from around the state to discuss the changing world of health care in Michigan. Building on the success of last year’s highly regarded event, the Forum focused on controlling the region’s health care costs, improving care quality and using the health sector and healthy workers to drive economic development.
The 2013 Forum highlighted the transformation of health care – both in the U.S. and Michigan – its effect on employers, and the obstacles and straightaways ahead.
