Here is what Gomez had to say about her apprenticeship:

Q: What’s one thing you’ve learned about yourself during your apprenticeship?

A: I’ve learned that I have to believe in myself and embrace the hard things in life. Challenges are opportunities to grow, and instead of doubting myself when times get tough, I’ve learned to face them with determination and resilience, knowing they will make me stronger.

Q: How was your transition from apprentice to full-time employee?

A: The transition from apprentice to full-time employee was exciting. It required me to step up, take on more responsibilities, and apply everything I had learned during my apprenticeship. The support from my mentors and colleagues made the process smooth, and it gave me the confidence to thrive in my new role.

Q: What advice would you give someone considering an apprenticeship?

A: My advice would be to embrace the opportunity with an open mind and a willingness to learn. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, take initiative, and step out of your comfort zone. An apprenticeship is a chance to grow both personally and professionally, so make the most of it and believe in your potential.
