On April 25, Schoolcraft College hosted their second annual Detroit Drives Degrees Community College Collaborative (D3C3) mid-grant celebration to share accomplishments and progress updates with staff. In addition to showcasing the great work and achievements Schoolcraft College has made over the past two years, this event was a great opportunity to spread awareness across the institution about the efforts underway through D3C3. The Detroit Regional Chamber deeply appreciates Schoolcraft’s deep commitment to meaningful work, collaboration, and partnership.
During the celebration, attendees from departments across the college shared progress updates and accomplishments, all highlighting a common thread of getting out of their comfort zone to innovate and increase impact on student success, K-12 partnerships and equitable dual enrollment expansion, and pathways into automotive careers. Launching automotive programs at Schoolcraft College has been a critical part of their work with D3C3 and is creating a template for future employer partnerships.
